The Enterprise Report has learned that CNN national investigative correspondent Abbie Bourdreau will be joining ABC News in Los Angeles. Multiple sources have confirmed the move, but were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly. The exact timing of Bourdeau's move to ABC news is not yet known.
Earlier this year ABC News instituted widespread cutbacks and staff reductions laying off nearly a quarter of its employees and nearly shutting down its west-coast Los Angeles based news operation. TER was first to report that story back in Feburary.
Bourdeau has been with CNN since late 2007 and has been based at the cable network's Atlanta headquarters. She previously worked at TV stations in Arizona, Michigan and Iowa.
Recently Bourdeau became involved in a rather bizarre story regarding conservative filmmaker/activist James O'keefe while putting together a documentary for CNN on him and other young conservatives.
